Joan joined our firm in January 2006 bringing with her a dynamic business development background accumulated through various industries. Prior to joining The Carney Group, Joan worked in consulting sales for one of the largest consulting companies in the world where she specialized in the small to medium size business sector. Joan launched her career with Philadelphia Radio Station, Kiss 100, where she continually exceeded her individual sales goals until she was promoted to a managerial role. Business-to-business sales and working with clients who need experienced and reliable employees and specially-trained personnel to expand their businesses are two of Joan’s greatest passions.

Joan has an entrepreneurial spirit as she was the owner of an automobile dealership and a restaurant, and she worked as a distributor of anti-aging products. Joan has Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a minor in Marketing from the University of Northern Colorado.
