The Carney Group inspires local job seekers in free event

Blue Bell, PA - The Carney Group, along with The Philadelphia Business Journal and CLEAR, hosted a free event on April 14th to give local job seekers unique tips on uncovering job opportunities in this tough job market. Nanette Sciolla Carney, CEO of the Blue Bell based staffing firm, welcomed the audience of over 40 professionals with her positive perspective of the job market and talked about the importance of your resume, how to stay marketable and encouraged job seekers to be creative.

The Philadelphia Business Journal Editor Bernard Dagenais and circulation director Brian Wiggins talked about using the Journal to as a way to uncover job opportunities by signing up for the Daily Update to stay abreast of breaking news, look for people mentioned in the articles, attending networking events, and researching companies and people on The Business Journal website to prepare for interviews.

The Carney Group also welcomed CLEAR to offer the audience an opportunity to talk to the company about creative job opportunities with this new, exciting technology company that has recently penetrated the Philadelphia market.
